⸻ About Us : PHIA Boutique is a women’s, tween, and teen clothing boutique serving the South Shore of Massachusetts, offering curated styles designed to help girls and women feel confident, comfortable, and uniquely themselves. A boutique designed for girls growing into their style, PHIA Boutique was created to solve a problem many mothers and daughters know all too well: finding clothing that feels stylish, age-appropriate, and confidence-building during the in-between years. Girls between childhood and young adulthood often fall into a fashion gap — too old for children’s styles, but not quite ready for women’s clothing. As mothers ourselves, we experienced this challenge firsthand and knew there had to be a better way. PHIA Boutique carries Tweens sizes 7-16 and Teen and Women XS - L. In 2018, founders Michelle Gardiner and Karina Mendoza decided to create that solution. Drawing on their experiences as both mothers and retailers, they opened PHIA Boutique with the goal of creating a welcoming space where girls could find clothing that made them feel comfortable, confident, and excited about their evolving personal style.
⸻ Growing With Our Customers: Phia Boutique first opened in Cohasset, Massachusetts, where Michelle and Karina spent eight wonderful years serving families in the community and building lasting relationships with their customers. During that time, they discovered that girls between the ages of 8 and 13 quickly became their largest and most loyal client base — an age when girls begin to develop their own sense of style but often struggle to find clothing that fits both their personality and their stage of life. As their customers grew, so did the boutique. What began as a store focused primarily on tweens and teens has since expanded to include women’s sizing, allowing many of their original customers — along with their mothers — to continue shopping with PHIA Boutique as their style evolves.
⸻ Style That Celebrates Individuality: At PHIA Boutique, Michelle and Karina believe there is no single way to dress or express personal style. The boutique’s collections range from relaxed beachy - bohemian styles to polished everyday pieces and dresses for special occasions. From tom-girl to princess, they curate clothing that allows girls and women to express who they are. Fashion should celebrate individuality — not force people into a mold. Every person is different, and style should reflect that.
